The Jefferson Library is doing a Food for Fines food drive at this time. We are trying to collect 500 food items that we will donate to the Linn County Food Bank. We are accepting cans, boxes and bags of food. If we collect 500 items by Friday, January 8th, 2016, we will eliminate fines for the rest of the school year. Please spread the word and bring food to help stamp out hunger in our community.
