Special Olympics...
The East Central Iowa Special Olympic Track event was held at Coe College on Saturday April 18th. Some of the Boys Varsity players helped out his year by running the “Olympic Village” for the athletes and also ran the Turbo-Javelin event.
Truman Night...
Our J-Hawk boy's soccer team helps out at the annual Truman Middle School Fundraiser. The guys all helped out in various capacities and had a fun time with all the kids.

This course is set up to provide structured and progressive lessons for students seeking high intensity training. The developmental phase of this course is typically four weeks and is termed, Phase I. This will allow students the opportunity to learn the complex movements in our strength training program. The First Block of classes consists of lessons that require little or no e...quipment. Block B begins work on the weighted movements, without weight or with PVC / wooden dowels, followed by Block C which includes more complex weighted movements as well as, a structured training program.

Preseason Requirements
As the Spring season nears we need to start preparing for the upcoming soccer season. In past years I have made many strong encouragements about off-season and pre-season training practices and to date have been unsatisfied with player response. I have also found that no matter the suggestions it is "YOU" the player that needs to want to work.

Jefferson Athletics has made your job as easy as possible by hiring Performance Therapies. A consistent weight and plyometric program, a consistent schedule, a consistent coach and consistent support. Are you taking advantage of this program? All players interested in playing Varsity Soccer. We will be having preseason workouts that will begin one week before our season starts.
