Jefferson High School Science Department
Prairie Project
The Jefferson PTA has generously given the science department a grant to build an outdoor classroom next to the new science wing. Combining this grant with another grant to create a prairie eco-system in the same area we will be able to offer the students a unique learning environment. The science department already has an outdoor classroom with a pond. See the Pond Project.
Plans are made and we hope to begin construction in the summer of 2006.

This is the new platform for telescopes during night viewing or launching bottle rockets for Physics or testing solar collectors for Principles of Technology. Our very sincere thanks and appreciation to Olson Brothers Construction for their help and to Mr. Strait for his donation! |
